A Warli Painting.
A fast dying tribal art of Maharashtra State, India
that depicts the nature and the tribal life around it.
The painting is actually red in colour but looks orangish in places due to the lighting.

Beautiful painting.

It's beautiful. It's kind of sad that in country some tribes are dying or are gone. Hope the government preserved them.
ReplyDeleteIt must have been love

ReplyDeleteI like this, bravo ! :))

It's beautiful and I think in Red it would be even more so (as in to mean that in person it looks even more amazing)!

I really love Warli panitings, its a fantastic art hope the government and the NGO's do something concrete to save them. Th real problem lies with the middlemen who sells these paintings for a great price but still pay peanuts to the actual artist.
